After Pearl Harbor, it took the United States three years and eight months to defeat Imperial Japan. In contrast, the Bush Administration since 9/11 has invaded a country that didn't attack us and allowed Osama bin Laden to escape. Meanwhile, the Taliban have regrouped to fight again. By pursuing policies that undermine moderate Muslims and strengthen extremists everywhere, including Iran, the Bush/Cheney team puts us all at "elevated risk" of attack. |
